Nanostation5 works in 5,8Ghz spectrum and is one of most flexible CPE units on market. Working in both polarization, vertical and horizontal what give you opportunity to combine your network infrastructure to pass away from interferences.

Similar to Nanostation2 giving you maximum performance with easy install feature. Only different what exist is frequency and stronger antenna power, increase to 14dBi.

From my own experience Nanostation5 is a great thing for small WISP and LISP operators. Remember when in 2,4Ghz spectrum start be very noisy and customers complain that in evening they can’t watch youtube or use skype etc. We start installing Nanostation5 in conjunction with Horizontal polarized sector antenna that give us great results!

Click here to buy Ubiquiti NS5 NanoStation 5 802.11a Broadband CPE and forgot about problems with interferences.

Nanostation2 is that what many small LISP and WISP was waiting a long time. It combines many advantages like: weight, size, dual-polarization, advanced radio architecture and highly researched and developed firmware etc.

As you can see here, it’s present really good for enable last mile to customer. You can even use that for 5-10 miles distance from your base point.

Little bit more about throughput, so how many Mb/s it can carry? Well from experience know that in “b” mode max is 4-5Mb/s, but in “g” mode with perfect conditions around 8-13Mb/s. This is from my own experience and I don’t say for sure!

Buy the cheapest one of best CPE for WISP here!!! Don’t lose time and your money for looking something cheaper, for this price you get what you need !

Tranzeo TR-6600 Series is a CPE client radio to receive Internet or some other wireless signal. Box is pretty much heavy around 1,5 kg and dimension are 13.22″ X 10.28″ X 3.50″ so is a big box for a Client Radio Receiver if we compare to Nanostation. CPE looks really tidy and is really good done inside.

Because is hard to open and see what is used for board and how antenna looks, we must broke one to see it and analyse. Bellow you can check on pictures how it is!

So how it is works !!! ? I try describe a little bit about this connection what we have been done .

Frequency 2,4 Ghz clear view, we can say that because was really high ! But I wasn’t see a node at all.

And most important what I didn’t say on start this post was : That wasn’t a NEW install, just repair old connection.

When I take my GPS to measure a distance to node which I have marked my self. It’s show 20,7 miles.

And here all my point of view on wireless connections change again a little bit. :)

Well here we have another pretty install of Wireless Broadband.

Again CPE is a Nanostation, installed on small bracket in the corner of front house wall.

If we have clear view there isn’t necessary using long bracket

So to do it right and looks good we using really small bracket what you can see on photos beside.

Very strong and long range Client radio. 24 dB Grid antenna and Ubiquiti Bullet CPE.

Bracket wasn’t long enough, so we put a pipe and connect each other! Distance was 3-5 miles but we can’t see other end and that was a problem here ! Signal was -87 dB and package 1mb/s.
