Hello, last week was really interesting for me ! Why? Here exactly I will describe one of reasons 
Distance from wireless base to customer was 8,55 miles, clear view and Fresnel zone.
So client was Nanostation 5,8 Ghz and AP base was mikrotik with Horizontal sector antenna. Beside you can see how install was done.
Well that is how we do ! As we can see on photos customer has Satellite broadband but wasn’t works to good for him and was extremely slow and expensive! But that’s always some alternative or any broadband service.
Package installed was 1Mb/s download and 128kb/s upload. Signal -82 dBm from both sides, on so long distance for me is relevant and I was in little shock Usually nanostation in 5 Ghz frequency can reach max 5 miles.
That is from my own experience and I don’t saying that is!!!

Wow is nearly 13 km in 5,8 Ghz, that’s nice results !!! This satellite is a nice rocket, but technology is still overhead and must be much much tweeted!
